Visitors can enjoy a paddling pool, Splash Cafe, and a new chute that opened in 2021. These amenities add to the overall experience of the swimming pool.

The swimming pool has an Early Season from June to July, a Peak Season from July to August, and a Late Season from August to September. This allows visitors to enjoy the pool during different times of the year.

The sea water at the swimming pool is heated, providing a comfortable swimming experience for visitors. The pool is open from late May to early September, allowing for an extended swimming season.

A community group was formed in 1994 to fight the threatened closure of the pool. This group has since become a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) and works closely with Aberdeenshire Council to ensure the pool remains open for the community to enjoy.
